Winter Snow

Hey guys!
Today we had this amazing winter snow.
Apparantly we haven't had this much snow for 27 years!
So I decided to take a few pictures! Well, a lot actually...

Here are a few of my favorites:

This tree looked like straight out of a story book so..

I edited the picture in picasa, made it black & white

Then I put the lyrics of the Christmas song all over the picture and this is what it looked like:

Finally, I printed the picture and put it in a white frame I got at ikea and..

(it's a bit clearer than on the pictures though)

ohh I just love snow!

Christmas Cookbook

Hello everyone!
This is my first blog post .. ever! Well almost, I kept a blog when I was younger about bunnies but this is entirely different,
I promise.
Here goes!

I'm going to show you how I made my little sister's Christmas gift. She loves to bake and cook and she loooves everything about Christmas so I made her a Christmas cookbook.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED
You will need a few sheets of scrapbook-paper(I actually ended up using 14), two pieces of cardboard, something to hold the book together (I used re-openable round-things-i-don't-know-what-to-call) and finally something to decorate the book with. I decided I wanted the book to be kind of vintage-looking.

I printed out a few pictures to put in as well☺

                                               TO START

First I cut out the cardboards to the size I wanted them, which was about an inch smaller than A4.

I then put holes through them so I could put the round things through.

Then I covered the cardboard with christmasy -yes, I believe that is a word-scrapbook paper ..front and back!
and this is what it looked like:

I then scrapbooked a few pages to put inside the cover. I must confess that I did buy a Christmas-themed cookbook-scrapbook-package. It included small pieces of paper to write a recipe on, a few scrapbook-paper-sheets, stickers and so on.

next I glued the pages together..

after that I printed out a piece of paper with "Christmas Recipes/Cookbook"(in our first language) written on it and glued on the front page along with these really cute paper-holly-berries.

let every thing dry, put the pages in the cover and that's about it!
here is the finished project:

Merry Christmas!
